I finally got contacts! I've been sick of wearing glasses for the past year now. I got contacts last week, and while I still struggle a little bit with getting them on and taking them out, it's absolutely worth it. People tell me I look so different, and well, duh. I've had my face framed by glasses for the past 6 years. Now, I can get funny glasses (50's secretary style, here I come), and not to mention cool sunglasses. Hooray!I have a huge package coming from Siri tomorrow. I have all these ideas now, and they're just screaming for all the new goodies. And while I am crazy about new scrapbook goodies, it is kind of a shame that I seem to be thinking "I can't start on that layout now, because it would look cooler with that specific paper, or those rub ons, or that overlay". Kathrine talked about this on her blog a little while ago. In many ways, I don't like the consumer that scrapbooking is turning me out to be. But I still want to use the new stuff. So I've gotten better at purging, better at giving away stuff that I know I won't use or that I'm tired of. And better at selling supplies that I haven't used for a while. There have been a couple of times where I have sold or given away something that I've gotten a use for later on, but that's how it is, I suppose.

I did this layout just for fun. No DT stuff. No challenges. Just for fun. It felt awesome :D I love this picture that Sindre took of me and my best friend. The grafitti (I know it can't really be classified as grafitti, but well) says "problematic children", which in many ways is how we've been, at least to others. It's a sweet little ode to our friendship and I kinda like how it turned out.
