I'm taking a little blog break. I just don't have the time for blogging right now. I can still be reached via email, and you can find me on Twitter.
Catch you on the flipside :)
And PS: From which movie is the phrase "Catch you on the flipside"? [The phrase might be used in several movies for all I know, but I'm looking for a specific one. Hint: The main characters are brothers (just in the movie, not irl), and one is considerably more hottt than the other] First one to guess (and not google) will get chocolate in the mail. For reals!
ETA: My lovely friend Saira just messaged me with the correct answer, which of course is Boondock Saints! She will get chocolate the next time I see her :)
There will probably be more chances to get a candy bar or two answering movie quote-questions in the future, so don't fret!

Midnight snacks in the mausoleum
Title song is of course from Beck, my man: Sexx laws. (Midnite vultures is in my opinion, the ultimate party album)
Ahh! Much needed vacation! A whole week of relaxation, reading (mostly Twilight, I presume), eating marzipan and taking walks in the woods.
Speaking of Twilight. I'm totally sold... I love it. I'm sucked into it like I was with Harry Potter. Nothing else can compare those two series though, but still. It's all about Bella and Edward. How can Bella be such a klutz? And why is Rosalie so hostile? And what's up with Alice? And I totally would have fallen for Edward when I was 17. (Which, incidentally, is the age I've turned back into after I started reading these :P). It's all so tender, hot, sad, hilarious, scary, nerve-wrecking... It's everything all at once and I love it. The other night I read 300 pages in about 2 hours! The dumb thing is, however, that I ordered book 1, 2 and 3 from Play over a week ago, and they're not here yet. I'll simply die if I don't get the 3rd book by the time we're leaving for the cabin on Wednesday. I bought the 4th book in the local bookstore, but it doesn't do me any good without the 3rd. Hrmpf. Mail delivery seems to have gone all wonky here again. I now suspect the mailman/lady/whatever to play with the following: A bunch of cool shirts from Threadless, a Martha Stewart bunny punch and the Fiskars upper crest punch that the incredibly talented Eli used on one of her layouts and thus made me want it.
The other day I found a pleasant surprise in my mailbox! The fabulous Xstine sent me a belated birthday present, and it was super yummy:

I want to travel so badly. I'm envious of my friend in Japan, I'm envious of Fredrik and Saira who is in London, I'm envious of everyone having a good time in a different country, basically. I think it's impossible for me to go an entire year without traveling. Hopefully we will be able to visit So in London later this summer/fall. There is something about the whole "going to another city, seeing different things than the shit you see every day" that just rejuvenates you and lets you go on and be your merry self instead of being your sourpuss self :]
I should go to bed. Tomorrow, Anette is coming over to make cards and chat. We will listen to punk rock and drink sour cherry juice and, quite possibly, talk about Jordan Catalano, or maybe Spike.
And I'm late posting this, but there is a new word up at Scrappemania.
This is about a few of my very favorite people. Lots of symbolism and quirks here.

And I guess I'll throw in a couple of Easter cards for good measure:

Nighty night!
